Instant download of four different book SVG free cut files to make your own book lover home decor, shirts, and more!
I am a huge book lover! There’s nothing better than a good book, am I right? The hardest part for me is finding the time and then finding the perfect book to read.
Today I thought I’d give you all a new free cut file with my fellow book lovers in mind!
And since we all like different styles, I have a bundle of four different book SVG files that you can download at the bottom of the blog post including just one more chapter SVG, book trovert SVG, the book was better SVG, and crazy book lady SVG.
I also have another bookish SVG cut file for Cricut in my freebie section if you are a member (in my bookish era SVG). If not make sure to join (there’s a subscribe box on every page), to get access to all the free SVG file images!
There are no physical items, just a digital item at the download link below.
Any Cricut machine (Cricut Explore Air, Cricut Explore 3, Cricut Maker, Cricut Joy, Cricut Joy Xtra) or other SVG vinyl cutting machines like a Silhouette Cameo or Brother would work to cut out this SVG file.
Project Ideas Using Book SVG
You can use these free book themed cut files for so many craft projects any time of the year!
Here are some fun physical products I came up with that would be perfect as a gift for a book lover or yourself! (click on links to see full tutorial!):
- Apply it to a mug or tumbler with permanent vinyl
- Make a hat with the hat press
- Cut it out of Infusible Ink transfer sheets and make cute tote bags or book bags
- Make a sign for a reading nook
Or make a cute book lover shirt to wear anytime!

- Cricut cutting machine or other vinyl cutting machine like Silhouette
- Iron on vinyl
- EasyPress or Heat Press and pad
- shirt or tank – Bella Canvas is my fave!
- FREE Book SVG files – see below for free download button
Upload the downloaded SVG file into Cricut Design Space. (Click here for help with importing design files.)
Size the file to fit your apparel. Set to mirror setting and cut the different colors out of iron on vinyl on any Cricut machine with the shiny side down – Cricut Explore, Cricut Maker, or the Cricut Joy.
Weed off the excess iron on vinyl and apply it to the shirt with an EasyPress or iron.

As a reminder, all of my FREE SVG files are for personal use only (to use for personal projects, not to sell). For small businesses, please click here to purchase a commercial use license if you want to use the files to sell items.
The free book SVG designs will download in a zipped folder. Click on Extract All to access the individual digital files (PNG, EPS, SVG) or PDF files (free printables).
If you are working with Cricut cutting machines, Cricut Design Space uses the SVG format. I’ve never used a Silhouette, but I’m told one of these will work as a Silhouette file in Silhouette Studio.
