Need some interior Christmas decorating ideas? Come along and check out how I decorate my house on a budget for the holidays.
Hi Friends! I’m in Christmas decorating overload, how about you? I’m so glad you stopped by for the second part of my Christmas home tours.
My first Christmas home tour post covered the front part of my house – entryway, dining room, and living room.
Today we move on to interior Christmas decorating ideas for the backside of my house – kitchen and family room!
In my first post, I talked about how we are on a budget around here so I get a lot of my decor at thrift stores or I make it myself. You don’t have to break the bank to have a festive house!
Moving right along…I had some fun with our windows this year!
When snow does not come to you, it’s easy to get a little piece of a winter wonderland with snow spray. Click here to read my tutorial on how to make window snowflakes!
Here’s another great thrift store find that I flocked with SnoFlock. Make sure to watch my video tutorial on how to flock this.
If you look closely you can also find Elvin, our Elf on the Shelf!
This was my one purchase this year. I really wanted a big wreath over my mantle and I found this one at Costco.com.
Since I added the shiplap over my mantle this year, I didn’t really have anything big enough to be the centerpiece of our family room. I love this wreath and just added the reindeer wooden cutout to the middle.
The DIY stocking hangers are super easy to make out of scrap wood. Find the full tutorial for DIY stocking holders here!
This is a canvas sign with heat transfer vinyl. You can find out how to make a DIY light-up canvas wall decor yourself by clicking on link!
My bookcases are pretty simple. I just added a few Christmas things on each shelf.

Here is my 7-foot thrift store tree that I flocked! I bought the round globe lights and made the star tree topper out of a Dollar Tree item (click here to check out tree topper tutorial).
That’s it for some interior Christmas decorating ideas! Thanks for checking out my Christmas home tours.
