Back at you with another fun game for family game night during the holiday season! If you grew up in the 80s then you should know all about the game of Pictionary.
An easy and classic guessing game that has adults and kids of all ages laughing and having fun! A great game to play during the Christmas season with the whole family or even at a holiday office party.
All you need are some pencils, paper, and our free printable Christmas Pictionary game that you can download at the bottom of the post.

How to Use Christmas Pictionary Printable

Included in the free printables, are one sheet with thirty Christmas themed words and one blank sheet so you can write in your own Christmas words if you want.
An extra bonus of this list of Christmas words is that you can also use it as a Christmas charades game if you prefer acting words out over drawing!
Download and print out the PDF files. Cut the printable cards with scissors or a paper trimmer or to make the printable game cards more sturdy, laminate the sheet first and then cut them out.
Put the Christmas Pictionary words in a bowl or have one person responsible for handing out the words.
Split all the guests into teams. You can have just two teams or a few more if you have a lot of people.
Before the easy game begins, make sure to lay some ground rules like how much time each team gets and how you will end the game. You can either play a certain number of rounds or until a team gets a certain number of points.
To keep all guests entertained, I recommend using an easel with paper or large dry erase board so everyone can see the drawing board. Have it set in the middle of the room and the first team to go picks a person to draw.
That person will pick a card to draw. Set a timer (we usually give one minute) and the first person will draw a picture on the board trying to get their team members to guess the correct word.
The person drawing can not talk or motion in any way! If their team guesses the correct answer in the time allowed, they get a point! If they do not, the opposing team has a chance to guess and get the point.
Younger kids might need help with reading the words, but I’m sure they’ll have so much fun trying to draw such Christmas words as Christmas tree, candy cane, Buddy the Elf, reindeer, Santa, and more!
Keep rotating through teams and drawers until the end of the game!
