I made burlap signs for every season and on the backside of one of them, I applied “He is Risen” with iron-on vinyl.
Simply cut out heat transfer vinyl with a Cricut or other cutting machine and apply it. You can check out my tutorial on applying vinyl to burlap by clicking here.
If you are a fan of burlap, you can also check out my posts on using burlap signs on glass blocks and making fabric crosses with burlap.
How to Make Wooden Crosses for Easter
Now, the only thing left to do is add the DIY crosses. I found some sticks outside and tied them together with jute twine by wrapping it around where the sticks cross.
So that the crosses stand up straight I put floral foam in the box first.
Then I just pushed the crosses into the foam.
Add moss and some rocks on top of the floral foam.
That’s it on how to make a wooden cross decoration. Crazy easy, right??
These would make great Easter centerpieces or mantel decor. Where would you put it?
It goes perfectly with my rustic Easter napkin ring holders and table decor.
