Hi Friends! Do you have a Cricut machine and have gotten a handle on how to use it and now you’re wondering what kind of Cricut home decor you can make?? Well, you are in the right place because today I am going to show you all the decor I have around my house (scroll all the way down) that I have made with my beloved Cricut plus a tutorial on how to make these cute mini clipboards
For our big family vacation this year, we went to visit friends on the east coast. Being from California, I never experienced other craft stores besides Michael’s and Joann’s. On our trip we went into an AC Moore and I was in love! I wish he had one out here since the prices were lower and they had so much stuff. I found these cute little wood clipboards in the $1 Bin and picked up a few to decorate. Here is a DIY mini clipboard tutorial of what I did to make these cute boards.

Here is what the clipboards looked like at the beginning:
Use a screwdriver to take the clip off the top.
Stain the bare wood any color you like. I used Minwax Dark Walnut. Just brush on the stain and wipe extra off with cotton cloth. Then apply vinyl lettering to dry wood with transfer paper. Brush on a thin layer of Mod Podge to seal the edges.
This is what it will look like. Let it dry for about 10 minutes.
Then choose the top color you want and paint!
I let it dry for about 5-8 minutes and then peel off the vinyl lettering with a utility knife or weeding tool. If you let it fully dry sometimes it will pull up the paint with the lettering. I wanted a bit of a rustic look so I sanded the edges after the paint was dry. Then add the clip back on.
For this board, I had a pop up flower sticker that I added on the clip to give it a little extra!
For this one I cut a flower from Cricut Flower Shoppe Cartridge and glued it on! Easy Peasy! You can decorate the clip however you want or not at all. This is how these cute little table decorations came out. Here’s another one I did
These go perfectly with my farmhouse home decor. Take a look at all the other Cricut home decor I have all over my house!
This little clipboard sits on my kitchen island along with these painted mason jars with burlap around them. I painted the symbols on the burlap with…. you guessed it, a stencil made with my Cricut! Read all about how to paint on burlap here!
I made these ones that sit on my mantel the same way! So easy and fun!
I made this wood box and added the Welcome saying with help from my Cricut. Also the clock was made from vinyl stencils too!
You can cut out simple vinyl sayings and attach them to you wall.
This is just vinyl on a painted MDF board sign that I use a lot!
An easy Cricut home decor is just adding vinyl to a tile. Read here on how to apply vinyl to a tile!
Cricut home decor wouldn’t be complete without wood and canvas signs! Check out how to make a canvas sign here.

These are so cute! I'd have a hard time coming up with a saying to use, I think it would have something to do with the sea or nature..
