If you’ve been following me for a while, then I’m sure you know that the fall season is my favorite! I love everything about it… leaves, trees, cool breeze, pumpkins, Halloween, Thanksgiving… you get the picture!

That’s why I’ve been busy getting new free printables ready for you and today I have fall handprint crafts. Fun handprint art is a great way to keep kids busy and also make great DIY decor!

Little hands will have so much fun watching animals, leaves, trees, and more come to life after they press their hand prints or fingerprint on these free pages.

Super fun fall crafts that are perfect for home, church, preschool, or at school if you are a teacher. Grab a few art supplies and let’s make some art projects!

What’s Included in Fall Handprint Crafts

To make handprint crafts, put some paint on a paper plate and let it disperse so it will be big enough to fit a hand. For young children, you will probably have to help them hold their hand down flat in the paint.

I have two sets of PDF files below to download. One has all 12 blank art sheets like this handprint trees page in black and white.

The second set has pages of what the project can look like with a handprint on it. These pages are for inspiration only! You don’t have to use the exact same colors as shown. Let the kids decide and get creative!

Here is the fall handprint tree with all the different fall colors. Use brown paint as the tree trunk and branches for the bottom of the tree. And then use a fingerprint or thumbprint for the leaves in different paint colors.

Then they can go back and paint or color in the extra fall images if they want!

You can print the pages on white cardstock (which is more sturdy for paint), colored cardstock, or construction paper if you want a colored background.

Those little fingers will look so cute on this owl handprint craft with branches and leaves.

Then there is a fox to make using one handprint.

Make cute acorns by adding darker brown and black lines to the heal of the handprint.

Just the pad of the hand should be used to make these apples.

Orange paint to make a festive pumpkin! Or add some black paint cut out eyes and mouth to make Halloween handprint crafts.

This fire handprint worksheet uses three different colors for the flames, but one would work too!

Then one page of just handprint leaves. You can each handprint leaf a different fall color or make them all the same! That’s the beauty of art, is the kids get to make it however they want.

This sunflower art project would make a great gift for grandparents or parents.

Kids of all ages will love making this cute turkey fingerprint art. Making all those fingerprints is great for practicing fine motor skills! Thanksgiving handprint crafts would also be a great thing to keep kids busy with on Thanksgiving day or just as crafty morning fun during the vacation.
