Get everyone reflecting on the past year with these New Years printables. Conversation starters make a perfect NYE game!
What was the funniest moment of the year? Or your favorite meme? Or what was something you were proud of?? Have you stopped to think about the past year yet?
New Year’s Eve is a perfect time to get together with family and friends and reflect on the year. We all experience ups, downs, pain, and joy each year. Some years more of one than the others.
William E. Vaughan said, “An optimist stays up until midnight to see the New Year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves.” No matter which one you are, it’s nice to reminisce about both the good and bad of the year. You might just find yourself crying from laughing so hard at a memory or laughing from a bad mistake you learned something from.
Sometimes we forget about all the good (and bad) things that happened in a year. That’s where these reflection cards come in.

- tape glider or glue sticks
How to Use the New Years Printables
I made the New Years printables match my red, black and white themed NYE party decorations. But you could mount them on any color or not mount them at all!
I printed them out on white cardstock, but if you are going to mount them on cardstock then regular printer paper would be fine too.
Cut them all apart. Having a trimmer works perfectly for this project, but scissors will do the job too!
If you printed them on cardstock, you can stop here if you want. I like a little more punch of color so I mounted them.
I used my tape glider to adhere them to red cardstock. I was able to get 6 on an 8.5×11 piece of cardstock with enough room in between them to give each one a red edge.
Now you’re ready to have some fun! Put them in a pile and have your guests pick them one at a time and say their answer.
You could also have people write their answer on the back of the card so they can keep it to look back on.
