Download and print these free printable Halloween tags for students, classmates, or coworkers. Add a pencil or small gift to make a gift!
Halloween is an exciting time of year for kiddos and parents too! My kids always enjoyed class Halloween parties when they were in elementary school.
They always loved taking an inexpensive gift to give their classmates to spread a little Halloween love.
Halloween gifts for kids don’t need to be costly! You can hit the Dollar stores or Target Dollar Spot to find all sorts of little things to give them like pencils, stickers, glow stickers, bookmarks, pens, etc.
I love giving non candy Halloween treats since they get so much sugar from trick or treating.
If you are a teacher, I’m sure you appreciate the non candy treats too and you can also use these as free printable Halloween teacher tags to give to your students!
My youngest gave a similar printable tag for classmates with Christmas pencils so I decided we needed to make some free Halloween tags this year. (If you love spreading Halloween fun, make sure to grab my free You’ve Been Booed Printables too!)

Putting Together Halloween Pencil Toppers
There are a variety of items you can attach these Halloween tags to but I decided to use some Halloween pencils I got from the Dollar Tree. If you are using as a free Halloween glow stick printable, you can add a glow stick following the same steps!
Download and print the free Halloween printable from below on white cardstock. There are four different tags per sheet so print as many as you need.
Then you’ll need to cut them. I love using my paper trimmer since I’m Type A and need straight lines but you can definitely just grab some scissors and cut them.
I’d suggest filling in your name under From: before attaching. Either have your child write their name if they are giving them to classmates or friends or if you are a teacher just sign your name on all of them!
There are a few options on how to attach the Halloween tags to the pencils.
Use a hole puncher and punch holes at the bottom and top of the tags. The pencils I had didn’t fit through one hole so I punched a second hole overlapping the first one so that it was a bit bigger.
Then simply insert the pencil through the two holes so the majority of it ends up on the back side of the tag.
The second way is to make slits in the top and bottom of the tag. I used my TrueControl knife.
Then slide the pencil through.
Or you can always just tape the pencil on the back of the Halloween pencil printable.
That’s all there is to it! Give the Halloween tags free printable to classmates, friends, students, put them in Halloween treat bags or use as Halloween favors at Halloween parties.
