If you are hosting a get-together at your home or even at a large venue, you’ll need some place cards! In the past, I’ve shown you how to make place cards with a Cricut, but I know you don’t all have one (or have time!).
So today I have ten different printable place cards for you to download and print at home. I wanted to give you an option for every occasion that you would need place settings, so I designed a bunch!
Using these name cards is an easy way to save you time and money when you have so many other things to do when hosting a dinner party or corporate event!

What’s Included in Printable

Once you’ve downloaded the zipped folder below you will be able to print any of the PDF files. All templates contain four place cards (4 inches by 3.5 inches)on one printable sheet. When folded, the place cards will be 2×3.5 in size.
Within the zip folder you will find a basic black and white design that would be suitable to match any place settings. This one has a flourish design on both sides so you can use whichever side you like better (2 in 1!).
Then there is a greenery place card that will definitely add a pop of color to your table setting any time of the year and would be beautiful for a wedding. Just add the table number next to guest’s name.
Also included are designs for the holiday season. Two different designs for an Easter holiday table, two printable Christmas place cards in different designs, and two Thanksgiving place cards to choose from.
How to Use Printable Place Cards
I recommend printing the place cards on white card stock (found here on Amazon) or another nice thicker paper.
You can print on white copy paper if that’s all you have on hand, but the tent cards might not stand up well on their own!
If you want to add typed guests’ names to the place cards, use software like Canva or Microsoft Word to place the names on the bottom half of the templates.
Print as many place cards as you have guests. I like to use a paper trimmer (found here on Amazon) to cut the separate name cards, but you could also use an exacto knife with a ruler or scissors.
I added a slight shadow around each card so you know where the edges are.
Then fold each card in half and use your finger or a bone folder to make a nice crease in the middle.
Now they will stand up on their own on your Thanksgiving dinner table.
Write each of the guest names on the blank part of the card with a pen or marker. Getting your kids to do this party is a great way to get them involved!
Once you’ve set the Thanksgiving dinner table, add each card with the name of the guest in front of their plate or on top of it.
