- Mason jars or other glass jars – I find these at the Dollar Tree
- hot cocoa mix – store-bought or homemade hot chocolate mix (hot cocoa recipe found here!)
- marshmallows
- candy canes or peppermint spoon (I found these at the Dollar Tree)
- Munbyn thermal printer
- Christmas tree labels
- Round gold transparent labels
- ribbon or string
I’m going to be putting together a few different small gifts since I wanted to give you a few extra ideas and fun ways to use the sticker maker.
The Christmas tree thermal sticker labels are only available during the holidays and are super cute! There are 250 labels per roll, which makes for a lot of different labels.
I’m going to create the main jar label with a holiday sentiment and I also wanted to add a custom sticker to the top of the jar.
These gold transparent labels are perfect! They add that perfect extra touch to the top of the jar.
To create the hot cocoa gift labels, I used Canva and the Munbyn app. If you want to use Canva, Munbyn has a full walk-through tutorial here on how to do that.
To design in the Munbyn app, search “tree” in the template search bar. The tree that came up for me was not the same size as what I had. To fix that, click on the setting icon on the top right.
Then on the next screen, you can change the size of the sticker. I changed to inches and 3 inches wide by 4 inches tall. The label changed in size and is ready to add font or designs to!
Remember that since this is a thermal printer, it can only print black so make sure your design is only black if you are importing it into the software.
Once I personalized the label, I opened and added the tree labels inside the printer by pushing the glides so that the label was secure.
Close the lid and push the button on the top of the machine. The printer will detect the labels and line them up to print correctly.
Now, all that’s left to do is print a bunch of labels. Increase the quantity to the amount you need!
The label maker prints the stickers so fast! It’s fun to watch!
I also wanted to add a sticker to the top of the jar so I printed out a bunch of round labels with a hot cocoa image I found here.
Designing and printing all the labels only took a few minutes! We are ready to start assembling our easy cocoa gifts!
Putting Together Hot Chocolate Jars
There are so many ways to put together hot cocoa mason jar gifts.
You can dump a few hot chocolate packages in, then add marshmallows, some candy canes, or candy cane spoons.
Or you can put in a few unopened hot cocoa packages along with the other goodies.
Then peel off the printed sticker labels and stick them to the front of the jars.
Tie some ribbon or twine around the top for some extra pop of color! Easy Peasy and so cute!
Then add the cute North Pole hot cocoa stickers to the top of the mason jar lid.
With the gold jar lids, it almost looks like the North Pole Hot Cocoa Santa Claus Approved image is printed on.
I love how cute the little gift came together!
Quick, cheap, easy, and CUTE!! My favorite type of neighbor or co-worker gift!
I also found these cute little tin buckets at the dollar store that would work great too if you don’t want to use clear jars.
More DIY Gift Tag Sticker Ideas
You can also use cellophane bags and put the labels on top for easy gifts. Put some holiday cookies, candy, or little toys inside as gifts for students or classmates!
I designed more stickers with font and icons found in the Munbyn app and printed a bunch. Then peel and stick!
I am also hosting a craft party next week and I made each of my friends a cute ornament and added a sticker label to the back.
Check party favors off my Christmas planner!
I love quick and cute ways to dress up my holiday gifts and party favors and the Munbyn bluetooth thermal printer helps so much!
There really are endless possibilities when designing and printing your own sticker labels at home during the Christmas season!
