King of Christmas Tree Review (Is it Worth It?!)

I’ve been wanting a new tree for years (yes years!). We have had the same Christmas tree since my husband and I got married back in 2002.

I kept waiting for it to finally fall apart so that my hubs would agree. Last year, half of the lights stopped working, woo hoo!!

And if you’ve been following me awhile, you’ll know about my obsession with flocked artificial trees after I kept seeing these amazing trees pop up on my social media feeds. So about 8 years ago, I bought a bunch of artificial greenery from our local thrift store and flocked it all myself because I wanted them to look like the King of Christmas trees!

So this year I reached out to the company and I was so excited when they sent me a beautiful tree!!

This is not a sponsored post, but I was gifted a tree from the King of Christmas in return for an honest review.

Unboxing the King of Christmas Tree

So let me tell you all about it and why I think this is the perfect Christmas tree!

I ordered a 7.5 foot King Flock Artificial Tree with Warm Light LED Lights (this one here) and it showed up on my doorstep in a manageable box (not overly big!).

Inside the box, the three pieces of my tree were nicely wrapped in some foam with the instruction manual in a bag.

I was super excited to see a remote control, protective gloves, and tree storage bag included in the box! I actually had no idea about the remote and the multiple settings that you can pick from.

First thing we did was put the included metal tree stand where we wanted the tree. After decades of putting our trees (we’ve never had a real tree) in our living room where we rarely see it, we finally decided to set it up in our family room where we are all the time.

Our old tree would never have fit in small space but this tree is the perfect size!

Then we added the A section into it. I secured the base of the tree by tightening the screw.

Another huge surprise and the best part for me, was that THERE WERE NO CORDS to connect!! Wait, what??!! I had no idea, that was even a thing!

Our old tree had about 10 different male and female ends that we spent forever always trying to find and put together.

Once you place the second section in the base, the lights automatically connect in the pole. The only cord is the one coming out of the base section with the foot pedal on it.

I had three separate sections to my tree, so once the top section was placed in the middle rod, it was time to start spreading out the branch tips.

I put on the included gloves and started pulling the tree branches away from each other and into a shape I wanted. Super easy setup!

Best Artificial Christmas Tree IMO

Here is a side by side picture of our old tree that had the Dollar Tree topper and flocked myself and my new gorgeous tree. You can see how much more elegant the King of Christmas tree is! And you can barely even see the lights or strands!

Look how absolutely stunning this faux tree is in the daylight already without any decorations!

We actually left it undecorated for about a week and just enjoyed the warm white lights.

I am a fan of pretty simple Christmas decor and don’t over stuff our tree.

The majority of our ornaments are handmade and mean something to someone in the family. I make my children and friends a personalized ornament each year. You can find the reindeer tutorial here and personalized family ornament tutorial here!

The glitter ornaments have that extra sparkle with the warm lights!

It makes my heart so happy watching TV at night with the Christmas tree lit up!

I do honestly think that King of Christmas are the best artificial Christmas trees for the price… easy setup, remote control lights, gorgeous snow appearance, no cords to attach to each other… I’m in love!

Even our dogs love to sleep nearby!

If I had to say, the only con would be that some of the flock will end up on your floor. But it was easy to sweep up!

With my DIY flocking on cheaper trees, we had flock everywhere!! But I’ll take some white flock on the floor over pine needles from real Christmas trees any day!

Even though I was gifted this gorgeous tree, I reached out to the company because I wanted the best artificial tree and I would have broken down and purchased one sooner if I knew how amazing it really was!

And my favorite part… the remote control! Click through the different settings to find your perfect one and you can even put it on a timer and adjust the intensity of the light. Just make sure that the remote is pointed toward the foot pedal to use.

It really is my perfect tree! Now, on to the rest of our Christmas decorations!
