I haven’t given my fellow Christian followers a new printable in a while. Some of you know that my family is just coming out of a very rough season.
I honestly don’t know how I would have gotten through the past few years without my faith and God’s love. Leaning into God’s presence, His promises, and knowing He has a plan that I don’t yet understand is one of the main reasons I made it through the difficult times.
So I thought I’d give you a printable list of the promises of God that you can print out and have with you at all times.

If you are just starting your faith journey, a great place to start is to read one promise a day, the meaning of it, and then meditate on that. Or read one of the scripture promises at the dinner table with the entire family.
Ask for guidance during your prayer time on what God wants you to learn from that particular scripture reference.

25 Promises of God
According to a study by Pepperdine.edu, there are 8810 promises of God listed in the bible – such good news!! But listing thousands of God’s promises would take forever, so I decided to list my best 25 promises from God.
And before we get to the printable, I thought we’d explore these 25 powerful promises of the bible, understanding their significance and how the bible promises can impact our lives.
So grab a cup of your favorite beverage, cozy up, and let’s dive into some of my favorite promises from the old testament and new testament.
Promise: “I am with you always, to the very end of the age
Matthew 28:20
Meaning: This promise reminds us that God is forever present in our lives, offering His guidance, strength, and comfort.
Promise: “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
Meaning: God assures us that He has a purpose for our lives, filled with hope and a prosperous future, even in times of uncertainty or when financial needs are in question.
Promise: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
Meaning: When we place our complete trust in God and surrender our plans and earthly understanding to Him, He will guide us on the right path, leading us with divine wisdom. This is good news for all of us!
Promise: “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7
Meaning: In times of worry and anxiety, we can find solace in knowing that God deeply cares for us and encourages us to cast our burdens upon Him. Before you go to bed, give all your worries to God by talking to Him.
Promise: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28
Meaning: This promise assures us that no matter what circumstances we face, God is working for our ultimate good when we love and trust Him. These good promises are often hard to imagine during our pain and suffering, but when we get to the promised land, we will understand.
Promise: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.”
Psalm 28:7
Meaning: God is not only our source of strength and protection but also the reason for our rejoicing. Trusting in Him enables us to find joy in every season.
Promise: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
Meaning: When a particular thing or life in general becomes overwhelming, the Lord Jesus Christ invites us to find rest in Him, offering comfort and peace for our weary souls.
Promise: “For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline.”
2 Timothy 1:7
Meaning: Through the Holy Spirit, God equips us with strength, love, and self-discipline, empowering us to face challenges with confidence.
Promise: “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
Deuteronomy 31:8
Meaning: I believe that this is the most important promise from the old testament. God’s promise of His constant presence reminds us that we need not fear or lose heart because He is our faithful guide, always by our side.
Promise: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 40:31
Meaning: When we place our hope in God, He renews our strength, enabling us to rise above adversity and continue our journey without growing weary.
Promise: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
Meaning: Jesus acknowledges the trials we will face in this world but encourages us to find peace in Him, knowing that He has already conquered the world.
Promise: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Matthew 6:33
Meaning: God’s promise reminds us to prioritize His kingdom and righteousness, assuring us that He will provide for our needs abundantly.
Promise: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 34:18
Meaning: In times of heartbreak and despair, God draws near to us, bringing comfort, healing, and restoration to our brokenness. Thank you to the God Almighty!
Promise: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:38-39
Meaning: God’s unfailing love is unshakable and unconditional. Nothing in this world or beyond can separate us from His eternal love and grace.
Promise: “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.”
Isaiah 40:29
Meaning: When we feel weak and exhausted, God empowers us with His strength, enabling us to endure and overcome.
Promise: “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love, he will no longer rebuke you but will rejoice over you with singing.”
Zephaniah 3:17
Meaning: Our heavenly Father delights in us and rejoices over us with singing. His love for us is immeasurable and unwavering.
Promise: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19
Meaning: God’s promise of provision reminds us that He is our provider, meeting our needs abundantly, and supplying us with His glorious riches through Christ. God promises to meet all our needs, not necessarily all our wants, but everything necessary for our well-being.
He is our faithful provider, and we can rest assured that He will supply according to His perfect timing and abundant resources.
Promise: “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
Philippians 4:13
Meaning: God empowers us to accomplish all things through His strength, allowing us to overcome obstacles and fulfill His purpose for our lives.
Promise: “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9
Meaning: God’s grace is more than enough for us, and His power shines through our weaknesses, revealing His strength and transforming our lives.
Promise: “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Exodus 14:14
Meaning: When faced with challenges and battles, God assures us that He is our ultimate defender. We can find peace in being still, knowing that He fights on our behalf in our time of need.
Promise: “For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.”
1 John 5:4
Meaning: Through our faith in Jesus, we are victorious over the world. God enables us to overcome obstacles, conquer temptations, and walk in His triumph.
Promise: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”
Philippians 4:6
Meaning: God invites us to bring our worries and concerns to Him through prayer, with a heart of gratitude. He longs to bring us peace and provide for our needs.
Promise: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
Psalm 147:3
Meaning: God is our healer, mending our brokenness and bringing restoration to our wounded hearts. In Him, we find true healing and wholeness.
Promise: “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.”
Psalm 34:17
Meaning: God is attentive to the cries of the righteous, and He rescues them from every trouble they face. We can trust in His faithfulness and deliverance.
Promise: “For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
Isaiah 41:13
Meaning: God holds our hand, assuring us that we need not fear because He is our helper. In times of difficulty, He provides guidance and support, leading us forward.
