How to Make Harry Potter Paper Craft
Make four different papercraft Harry Potter characters with a free PDF file template.
Tools
- Pair of scissors
- Craft Glue, glue stick, or hot glue gun
- Popsicle sticks if want to make stick puppets
- Pencil and Sharpie
Instructions
- Gather all of the different colors of craft papers for the Harry Potter crafts you want to make. Print out the free template patterns. Trace the Harry Potter templates on the selected colored paper and cut them out with scissors.
- Attach the shoe cutouts to the trouser cutouts with your favorite craft adhesive.
- The next step is to attach the attached shoe and pant patterns that you just made to the bottom side of the coat cutouts.
- Use a red Sharpie or marker to trace striped patterns on the scarf cutout. Glue the hair cutouts on Harry Potter and Ron Weasley figures. Cut a slit along the line inside Hermoine's hair cutout.
- For the Hermione craft, slide the top end of the head cutout through the hair slit from below that you just made. Use a marker or Sharpie to draw the nose, eyes, mouth, and other features of the papercraft figures.
- Glue the head patterns on to the top side of the coat pattern.
- Glue the Gryffindor scarves on the coats right below the head patterns.
- You can be done now and use the Harry Potter crafts for invitations, scrapbook pages, or cards or you can attach the paper craft to a popsicle stick to make a puppet.
- Follow similar steps to put together the Hagrid paper craft so you have a full set of four book characters.
