Make your own patriotic projects with four FREE 4th of July SVG cut files. Learn how to apply vinyl to a tile using a patriotic SVG free file.
DIY Patriotic home decor is easy and cheap to make with just a few supplies when you have a free patriotic SVG.
With the upcoming holidays like Memorial Day and 4th of July, now is the perfect time to start crafting up a patriotic storm! Whether you like shirts, decor, or mugs… I have free SVG files for Cricut -4th of July themed!
Looking around my house, I always find leftover materials that make DIY patriotic decor even cheaper. If you are just a tad of a hoarder, I’m sure you’ll find something to add these free files on, lol!
Tiles are one of my favorite inexpensive DIY decor to make. Using leftover or buying a 12×12 tile for $1-2 at any home store fits in my budget perfectly.
I have applied vinyl on tiles for baby gifts and weddings and made large tiles for Christmas, but this time I thought I’d show you how to apply vinyl with a video and a patriotic SVG free file. (find below!)
I also have a few short videos on how to use the free cut files for 4th of July tops (at the bottom) and patriotic coffee mugs (right below).

How to Make Patriotic Decor
First, we are going to make a patriotic tile using the America the Beautiful SVG file.
Upload the free patriotic SVG file into Cricut Design Space and size it to fit your tile or material.
Place vinyl on a Cricut mat and cut out both colors.
Weed off extra vinyl. For the country, you will be pulling out the actual letters.
Place transfer paper over the design and scrape down. Cut around the edges. This helps prevent the transfer paper from sticking to the tile while you are trying to center it.
Clean the tile with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel.
Place the vinyl pieces on the tile and center. Tape down the top of the year.
Flip up the paper, peel off the plastic backing, and lay it back down on the tile. Remove the tape and scrape it down well.
Peel off the transfer tape.
If the vinyl doesn’t release well, scrape it down again. Pull the tape at about a 180 angle so it’s easier for the vinyl to come off.
Repeat the above steps to apply the top image on the tile.
I pull it off pretty slowly and press down the vinyl as I go. If something pulls up just push it down with your fingers.

If it doesn’t automatically download, you might need to right-click on it and Save As. If you need additional help, make sure to check out my post on how to download and upload files to CDS.

There is no zip file this time, only a single SVG file type and PNG format that contains all 4 fourth of July digital images. Cricut Design Space prefers the SVG format. I’ve never used a Silhouette Cameo, but I’m told one of these will work as a Silhouette file.
This is an instant download. Once you click on the link the free SVG cut files will automatically popup and you’ll just have to click on the Download button on your computer. There is no physical product, just a digital download.
