These free bookmarks are a fun way for kids and adults to spend time together coloring in cute Christmas-themed images.
There are five different Christmas-themed bookmarks on one free printable template to choose from.
Book lovers might want to color all five and keep to have as their own Christmas bookmarks to use or you can cut them apart and hand them out as an activity during class.
Simply click on the download button at the bottom of the post to download the free printable bookmarks and print them out on any home printer.
There is no physical product, just a digital download in PDF format.
How to Use Christmas Bookmarks

These printable holiday bookmarks make fun gifts to give students or classmates before winter break or at classroom parties and promote the love of reading at the same time:)
Download and print out as many pages of the adorable free printable bookmarks as you need.
For best results, I recommend printing on heavy white card stock so they are sturdy and hold up to little fingers, but regular paper will work too! If you need some, you can find white cardstock on Amazon here. Just make sure your printer is able to handle the thicker material!
Cut the different designs apart with scissors or a paper trimmer.
If you are passing out as gifts, you can also include a small set of crayons in a goodie bag to make the new bookmark extra special.
Or if it’s a class activity, simply put out some crayons, markers, or colored pencils and let the kids have fun coloring them in.
Then each child will have their own bookmarks with cute images of:
- a Christmas tree stating “You’re a Tree-rific reader”
- hot chocolate with a candy cane and the phrase “Reading is a sweet treat”
- gingerbread man cookies with the saying “Reading makes you one smart cookie”
- Santa Claus stating “Reading is a jolly good time”
- Christmas present images with the statement “Unwrap a good book”
You could even have your Elf on the Shelf holding one when he returns one morning from the North Pole!
