The holiday season is upon us which means lots of holiday gatherings! I just gave you our Thanksgiving potluck printable, so I thought you could also use a Christmas themed sign up for any potluck dinner you might be hosting!
Using a Christmas sign-up potluck sheet is a great way to figure out what to expect and also limit duplicate dishes. You can use the free download for a work holiday potluck or even class parties.
I know a lot of people like to use google sheets or google docs so they can send everyone an email, but there’s just something about still using a pen and paper that appeals to me (I’m assuming I’m not the only one, right??!)
The great thing about using a potluck event sign-up sheet is that others can see the food items that people are bringing so they can look forward to all the yummy dishes plus not bring the same dish.
I think using these sign ups along with our Christmas sanity saver planner is the perfect way to help keep your holiday parties stress-free!

How to Use Potluck List Template

Just like our everyday potluck template, I wanted to give you a few different printable potluck sign up sheets to choose from. So in the PDF file there will be two separate free potluck sheets.
The first one is a basic sheet template with a long row of columns. Friends, co-workers, or neighbors can write in their names and then what food they are bringing to the Christmas party plus any relevant details.
Then the second fillable form has separate sections for the different food categories of the meal. If it’s for a potluck supper, each person on the guest list can fill in what type of food they want to bring.
Under the Name section, you can also have them write down their contact details or if they have any dietary restrictions.
There is a section for appetizers that people can sign up under along with the name of the specific dish they will make or purchase (maybe one of these charcuterie boards).
Next is a section for side dishes, followed by main dishes, and then a dessert (fun small bite recipes here) and drinks section.
If you don’t need as many food items or already have enough desserts say, simply cross off that part of the list. And if you need a new spot for someone to fill in, print out more!
Once the whole family or guests have signed up, you’ll know if you have enough food.
You can add the sign up sheet in the break room for everyone to sign up!
If you are missing a main course or something that you think is still needed, you can supplement the dinner with your own dishes or another great idea is to have everyone pitch in a few dollars and purchase food items from a store.
If there are any severe food allergies at the party, you’ll want to let guests know by writing it on the top of the potluck signups or having people bring the food recipes they used is an easy way for those who have food sensitivities to know what’s in each dish.
Then grab some free printable Christmas games and table name cards so you’re all set for your perfect potluck party!

Just like our Closed for Christmas signs, the printable sheet is in color but printing in black and white is fine too!
