Instant download of a printable closed for 4th of July sign template to hang on any door to let customers know you are out of the office!
With the summer coming up, there are quite a few holidays to celebrate in the United States! And today we have closed signs for the fourth of July!
Since July 4th is a federal holiday, the majority of businesses and any state-run offices are closed to celebrate our independence.
Granted I think they should make July 5th also a mandatory day off to recover from the fun of the 4th of July celebration, I guess we will just have to live with one day off!
As with all my free printable signs, I think the best way to help all of you is to design three different versions of the closed for 4th of July sign for you to choose from.

Closed for July 4th Signs
If you are lucky enough, your office might be closed the entire weekend if the 4th happens to fall on a Friday, Monday, or Tuesday (when you can craft for the 4th!)! But I always think it’s a good idea to put the printable templates up a few days early so customers or patients know you’ll be closed for sure.
To give you several best options to suit your needs, I have three different sign templates for you. The download button for all three designs in PDF format is at the bottom of the post.
One Closed for the 4th sign design is in portrait mode and states “Closed for the 4th of July” with the Statue of Liberty and fireworks behind it.

Then there are two Closed on July 4th printable templates in landscape mode. One has an American Flag with the words Closed for Independence Day and the second one has fireworks and reads Closed for the 4th of July.
If you are a paper planner like I am, make sure to grab our free July printable calendar!
Once you’ve downloaded and printed the design templates you can hang them up by taping them to a door (front door is ideal!), front windows, or desk or stand them up by putting them inside a frame.

For best results, you could also laminate the signs and turn them into yard signs for in front of your office building. Since the color schemes are patriotic they make for a beautiful sign of the national holiday also!
The PDF print is a color version, but the signs look fine as a black and white version if you don’t have a color printer!
