Instant download of a free printable closed sign for New Years to hang on any door to let customers know you are out of the office!
We are ending the holiday season in the United States with New Year’s Eve! And since New Year’s Day is a federal holiday and a lot of businesses are closed I made new free printable closed signs for all you business owners.
As with all my free printable signs, I think the best way to help all of you is to design three different versions of the closed for New Year’s sign for you to choose from.

Closed for New Year’s Signs
If you are lucky enough, your office might be closed for both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, or at least get out early! But I always think it’s a good idea to put the printable templates up a few days early so customers or patients know you’ll be closed for sure.
To give you several best options to suit your needs, I have three different sign templates for you. The download button for all three designs in PDF format is at the bottom of the post.
One of the New Years sign is in portrait mode and states “Our office will be closed on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day” with a Happy New Year banner and fireworks in the background.
Then there are two Closed on New Years printable templates in landscape mode. One has gold and black confetti with the words Closed for New Years and the second one has fireworks and reads “Sorry, we’re Closed for New Year’s Day”.
Once you’ve downloaded and printed the design templates you can hang them up by taping them to a door (front door is ideal!), front windows, or desk or stand them up by putting them inside a frame.
For best results, you could also print on white cardstock to make the free sign templates extra sturdy.
The PDF print is a color version, but the signs look fine as a black and white version if you don’t have a color printer!

Then print out whichever free downloadable closed signs you want on a home printer or work printer on white copy paper or cardstock. All sign templates are sized to US letter size 8.5 x 11 inch paper size.
Use your own print settings to make different sizes of the last minute closed signs by changing the image size or scaling.
