What’s Included in Printable First Day of School Signs
In my last post, I had the PDF files for first day of kindergarten, first day of preschool, and homeschool signs and I promised to give you the rest of the grade levels.
In this post, I have downloads of first and printable last day of school signs for middle school and high school grades, so you can have matching pictures for all of their school years!
I will be editing these free school signs every year so they say the current school year. If you happen to land on this post before I have changed the signs before the beginning of a new school year, please let me know and I will edit them for you for the new school season!

So these first signs will have the 2024 date on them and the PDF file includes 1st grade through senior year (12th grade).
Print out the white signs at home and have your student hold it up in front of them in front of your house or in front of their classroom on the first day of school.
Or you could always frame the free printable signs and have it as decor on the table with a special breakfast!

Along with the colorful signs, I have another fun activity for the beginning of each school year. Have your kids fill out this all about me worksheet that asks questions about their favorite things.
Then you can keep one from every year in a scrapbook along with their first day of school pictures so they can look back on it in high school or even later in life!
And if you are wanting to get to know your child’s teacher a little bit better, I have a teacher’s favorite things printable as well.
First Day of School Printables PDF
As with all my free printables, these are for personal use only! Please no selling or redistributing of PDF files. Thank you!
The printables all have a white background so you don’t waste too much printer ink and if you only have a black and white printer, that will work also!
Simply click on the download button and the PDF file should automatically download or pop-up in a new window depending on your settings. Print whichever sheets you want using your printer’s software on white copy paper or white cardstock! All signs are 8.5×11 paper size.
