Who doesn’t love to play games? Especially during the holiday season! And no time better than the last night of the year.
When I was young it was always board games that had nothing to do with the holiday. But that doesn’t have to be the case!
Enter printable NYE games… all you need is a printer and some paper and you are set for a night full of things to do without having to plan anything.
I put together some free printable New Years games you can easily download and print anywhere you are.

New Years Eve Bingo
Everyone loves a good bingo game (which is why we also have a baby shower bingo game printable!)! It’s easy and can be on going throughout the fun night.
Party guests can mark off things on their bingo cards as they happen. For those that are paying a lot of attention to things around them, they will probably win!
Bingo squares on the bingo cards include items such as a countdown to midnight begins, making a New Years resolution, seeing the ball drop, a song from the past year plays, etc!
New Years Printable Scattergories
Up next is New Years scattergories! Hopefully you had fun playing our Christmas Scattergories game!
There are two game cards per sheet with different words at the top. One game card has the letters from PARTY across the top and the other has TOAST.
I’d recommend establishing some rules that the whole family agrees on before you start the game, like how many rounds you’ll play and if the group gets to vote and veto an answer if they think it’s too far out of left field!
At some point during the New Years Eve party, hand each attendee a few game sheets and a pencil or pen.
Set a time limit for 3-4 minutes so the guests can’t think too long! The game is harder than most think!
The party guests will go down the first list on the left and think of words that correspond to the prompt that starts with that letter of the alphabet. But not just any answer, you only get the point if you have a unique answer!
That’s right, if someone else writes down the same answer, then you both get zero points for that word!
So the object of the game is to come up with the most unique answers! And if they use two letters that start with the same letter they get bonus points.
For example… for NYE party foods, and the letter was T, someone could get two points for putting down Tater Tots (as long as no one else wrote the same thing).
And each player can only use the same word once (so they can’t use a duplicate answer!)
At the end of each round, everyone will go around and share what word they wrote down, crossing it off if someone guessed the same word.
Each player gets 1 point for a unique word and two points if they have a double letter word. Add up all the points after each round and write the number at the top.
New Year’s Eve Charades Printable
Charades is another classic game that everyone can play! Once you’ve download the charades sheets, cut all the playing cards apart.
Put in a bowl and a person from each team takes turns drawing a card and acting it out!
New Years Eve 5 Seconds Game
Can you answer questions in 5 seconds when put on the spot??!! This next printable game will test your skills.
Print out the game sheets and cut the cards out. Take turns reading the prompt on the card and see if the other person can name 3 things in each category in 5 seconds.
