Use these printable teacher appreciation cards to show your teachers how much you love them!
Teacher appreciation week is fastly approaching! Can you believe we are almost at the end of another school year? It’s time to give the teachers that put so much love and time into our kiddos a little something special.
I served as teacher appreciation co-coordinator for three years on our PTO and have hosted teacher luncheons and made all sorts of different things over the years. If you are a room parent or in charge of teacher appreciation, I have a whole post on easy and simple teacher appreciation ideas.
This year I’m not in charge of anything and I plan on just giving our wonderful teachers cards with gift cards. Teachers LOVE gift cards probably more than anything else you can give them.
I made two super easy printable teacher appreciation cards this year and wanted to share how easy it is to add a gift card to them. Now, I can’t take credit for the cute sayings, I have a friend who is a teacher who has a gift for words!
My youngest can be a handful so I had to make the coffee gift card printable funny. This wouldn’t have been as funny with my two other kids!
If you have a Cricut and want to make a cute coffee cup gift card holder, hop on over and watch my teacher appreciation gift card ideas video tutorial.

How to Put Together Free Printable Teacher Appreciation Cards
The first thing you’ll want to do is download the printable that you want.
Trim off the extra paper with a trimmer or scissors. I left about 1/4″ around the green box.
Then you’ll need to make a slit a little bit bigger than your gift card. I sliced mine a little more than 2 inches. Place a ruler down and use and x-acto knife to cut. I cut towards the top of the dark brown part of the coffee cup and above the “take out” on the other.
Flip over the card and apply a tape glider or glue stick to the back side. Make sure not to put any glue below the slit where the gift card will be slid into. Apply glue all around edges and then some above the slit.
And you’re done! You can put it in a large envelope or gift bag for the teacher. If you need more inspiration for teacher appreciation ideas, make sure to browse my teacher love tutorials.
