Are you ready for summertime?? With the crazy rain we’ve had this year, I am definitely ready for some sunshine!
And since I haven’t given you any new free SVG files to use with your cutting machine in a while, I thought now is the perfect time so you can start making some fun summer crafts with these summer sayings.
There are four summer SVG files in the summer SVG bundle that you can download at the bottom of the post including Hello Summer SVG, Summer is Here SVG, Girls Just Wanna Have Sun, and Summer Lovin’ cut file.
There is no physical product, only a digital download file of the free summer cut files.
Ways to Cut out an SVG File
Any Cricut machine or other SVG vinyl cutting machine like a Silhouette Cameo or Brother would work to cut out this SVG file. If you’d like to learn more about the different Cricut machines, make sure to check out the following posts:

Project Ideas Using Summer SVG
You can use these summer quotes SVG files for so many summer projects. Here are some summer Cricut crafts I came up with (click on links to see full tutorial!):
- Cut the file out in adhesive vinyl and add it to a tile or wooden frame to make summer signs (Dollar Tree has great wooden pieces!)
- Make cute koozies out of Infusible Ink or heat transfer vinyl
- Make cute baby onesies
- Apply it to a mug or tumbler with permanent vinyl
- Make cute summer tote bags to take to the pool or the beach
- Make a hat with the hat press

Upload the download SVG file into Cricut Design Space. (Click here for help with importing design files.)
Size the file to fit your apparel. Set to mirror setting and cut the different colors out of iron on vinyl on any Cricut machine – Cricut Explore, Cricut Maker, or the Cricut Joy.
Weed off the excess iron on vinyl and apply each layer of the summer image with an EasyPress or iron.

As a reminder, all of my FREE SVG files are for personal use only (to use for personal projects, not to sell). For small businesses, please click here to purchase a commercial use license if you want to use the files to sell items.
The digital files will download in a zipped folder. There will be a set of digital products in five different file formats.
Simply extract all the files from the zip file to access the individual file type: SVG file, DXF file, EPS file, JPG format, and PNG files (PNG formats have a transparent background). No PDF files.
If you are working with a Cricut cutting machine, Cricut Design Space uses the SVG format. I’ve never used a Silhouette, but I’m told one of these will work as a Silhouette file.
These different file types should work in Silhouette Studio, Silhouette Designer Edition, Adobe Illustrator Draw, Sure Cuts a Lot, Corel Draw, and Cricut Design Space.
