How to Make Turkey Toilet Paper Roll Craft
Cute and fun turkey craft toilet paper roll project!
Materials
- Cardstock or colored craft paper
- Empty toilet paper roll
Tools
- Pencil
- Ruler
- Pair of Scissors
- Glue - glue stick, craft glue or hot glue
- Markers or Sharpie
Instructions
- Download the printable template from below. Cut out each piece of the turkey craft and use that as a template to trace on colored craft paper (brown, yellow, red, orange paper, etc). Then cut out all of the patterns with scissors.
- The next step is to put together the turkey feathers. Lay the red piece (the largest of the turkey's feathers) down first and then glue the orange layer on top and then the yellow layer on top of that.
- Wrap brown craft paper around the tissue paper roll and glue the ends together to secure it on the back of the toilet paper roll. Alternatively, you could use brown paint and paint the cardboard roll.
- Cut two 4-5 centimeter vertical slits on opposite sides of the toilet paper roll. Slide the turkey's tail into the slits.
- Glue the turkey's beak and the waffle (red thing) onto the turkey's head. Using a black marker or Sharpie, color the pupils of the eyes. Or you can always glue googly eyes on the turkey's face.
- Next glue the eyes above the beak.
- Then glue the light brown feathers on the top part of the turkey's neck.
- For the turkey's chest, glue the light beige cut out on the front of the turkey's body.
- Glue the turkey's head on the top of the toilet baby roll body.
- The last step is the glue the two turkey wings on each side of the little turkey. Your turkey toilet paper roll craft is now ready!
Now you can decorate your Thanksgiving dinner table with the adorable turkey craft!
