Easy Handprint wreath for valentines day

Free Template!

This is a great activity to do at home with kids or at school with your students. With only a few craft supplies, kids will have a lot of fun seeing their hand prints come to life!

Materials – Cardboard (Or poster board or thick cardstock for base) – Colored craft paper like construction paper or cardstock Tools – Craft glue - hot glue gun or tacky glue – pair of scissors – Ribbon – Glitter Paper (optional) – Pencil

To make the wreath Valentine's themed, select different shades of pink and red craft paper for the handprints. Older children might be able to trace their own hands, but an adult will probably have to help younger kids by tracing around their hands with a pencil.

Start attaching the handprint cutouts to the wreath base with glue on one side of the top of the heart.

Continue gluing the hand cutouts around the base in alternating colors

Fill the entire wreath base making sure to overlap the previous handprint when attaching the next one.
